The stars are coming out at Bank of America Winter Village on Friday, December 2 at Bryant Park’s Tree Lighting Skate-tacular. Come watch Olympic and national champion skaters perform to live Christmas music as part of an original holiday tale on ice. The event is completely free and open to everyone, no tickets required.

Winter Village Skating Ambassador and two-time Olympian Johnny Weir is part of a star-studded cast of skaters including reigning world champion Javier Fernandez of Spain, the world’s top-ranked ice dancing team Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, 2006 World Champion Kimmie Meisner, and our good friends, 24-time U.S. National Champion synchronized skating team The Haydenettes.

The skaters perform to live Christmas music played by the authentically swinging New York City big band, Lapis Luna. After the beautiful 50-foot Norway Spruce is lit to a sparkling fireworks array, The Rink will open again for public skating accompanied by Lapis Luna performing an additional hour-long concert of holiday favorites and glittering standards.

Tree Lighting Skate-tacular honors the efforts of (RED) and their mission to eradicate AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa. This spectacular holiday event is made possible by Bank of America.
